Concerts: The Florentine Muse

We have been hard at work for many months, preparing our upcoming programme, The Florentine Muse: Echoes of the Medici in the Courts of Europe, in which we seek out traces of the Medici in music and dances from the early Renaissance to the Baroque across western Europe. We can’t wait to perform it for you in November!

We have made a couple of changes to our routine. Aware of how busy the Christmas period is, we have opted to hold both our performances in November this year.

For our Warrandyte audience, we are moving to a new venue! As you will know, parking in central Warrandyte has become quite a problem. We tried changing the time of our concerts, but as that didn’t really help, we have decided to move further away from the centre, to the Warrandyte Community HALL, where there are more parking opportunities.

Additionally, we have had to make a small price increase to our tickets: $30 standard, $25 senior/student/concession, to help us to cover the costs associated with hiring rehearsal and performance venues, production and maintenance of costumes and so on.
