Concerts: Echoes of Antiquity

Our first performance of Echoes of Antiquity is in two weeks, our second in three! It is time to purchase your tickets, if you haven’t already. We’ve been working hard, adding the finishing touches, and we are sure you are going to love it!

Here is what we will be bringing to you:

Journey back to a world where the ideals, stories and imagery of Ancient Greece and Rome inspired a new age of music and dance. Echoes of Antiquity explores the fascination with the classical past that shaped Renaissance and Baroque artistic culture, bringing to life music and dances inspired by ancient mythology, philosophy and the classical ideal. Performed by musicians and dancers in authentic period costumes and featuring music on period instruments, this concert reveals how the ancient world continued to resonate through the courts and theatres of Europe centuries later.
